What each one was built to do.
MétalContacts
The management module of a full metalwork suite. Around it, MétaluSoft publishes MétalCad and MédiaCad for design, so a quote can come down from the drawing — a genuine advantage a management tool alone will never have. It targets metalwork, locksmithing and joinery, and covers the cycle from quote to site tracking with a profile catalogue supplied.
MetalSales
The management half of a chain that starts at the Google query. Brouillard publishes the software and also builds the site and the search visibility that bring the job in, then follows it to the final account. No CAD: we connect to the one you have. In exchange, an AI trained on your own history and an installation app writing to the same database.
Row by row.
Every row states which side it favours, including when that is not us. The MétalContacts column repeats what MétaluSoft publishes; where the information is not public, the row says so rather than guessing.

Take MétalContacts, honestly.
Some workshops should, and saying so here saves us both time.
- 01You want drawing and management from the same publisher. MétalCad feeds MétalContacts; with us that would take an interface, and an interface is always one more part to maintain.
- 02You price from a profile catalogue supplied and kept current by the publisher, and building your own holds no interest.
- 03Your order book lives on public tenders and the SPIGAO watch earns you more than a well-ranked website would.
- 04You want a publisher with thirty years behind it and an installed base you can call before signing. That is a legitimate criterion, and on that one we cannot compete yet.
Take MetalSales if your problem starts before the quote.
The question is not which one ticks more boxes, but where your chain loses money today.
Demand before tooling
We also build the website and the search visibility that bring the job in. Software does not fill an empty order book, and no other vendor sells both halves.
Marius reads your history
The AI is trained on your own past quotes, for you alone. It suggests a price, finds a job you priced three years ago, completes a line. You keep the final say.
The field in the same chain
MetalField is an installable PWA that works with no signal: GPS clock-in, installation sheets, photos. Fitter and back office write to the same database.
Sovereign hosting
Data held in France, strict isolation per client company, every action traceable and reversible. Written on the Security page, not just in answers to tenders.
Questions we get asked.
Can data be migrated from an existing system?
Yes, and it is the first step — done before you sign anything. Customers, items, quotes and site history all come across. History counts double here: it is what trains Marius, so the fuller it is, the more useful the tool is in month one.
Does MetalSales replace a CAD package?
No, and it is not planned. If you draw in MétalCad, Tekla, AutoCAD or SolidWorks, you carry on: we connect to it. A vendor promising to replace your CAD and your management at once would be promising two migrations in one.
What happens if we want to leave?
Your data exports in open formats, on request, with no exit fee. It is in the contract. A tool you cannot leave is a tool you eventually just put up with.
Do we have to take the website and the software together?
No. Many start with one of the two. We sell them together because apart they undo each other — a site that fills the order book with no tool behind it just moves the problem into the workshop — but nothing forces you to take both on the same day.
Where this comes from.
The MétalContacts column repeats what MétaluSoft publishes on its own site, last read in August 2026. No prices are compared here: both publishers charge per user, both change their rates, and a stale figure in a table would make every other row suspect. If you spot an error or something that has since changed, write to us: the page gets corrected, not defended.
Compare it on your own quotes.
Thirty minutes, no slides. Bring two recent quotes: one you won, one you priced at a loss. We look at what each tool does with them.
